In the study we present results of direct measurements of soil hydraulic conductivity curves. Hydraulic conductivities were measured in the field using a tension disk infiltrometer. Experiments were conducted in two experimental sites in headwater watersheds of the Czech Republic. Soils from both locations exhibit preferential flow. Infiltrations were performed with following tensions: -6, -3, -1 and 0 cm. Two hydraulic conductivity curves were obtained for the soil from Uhlířská catchment and one curveof hydraulic conductivity was measured in Liz catchment. For the watershed Uhlířská we have performed the multiple step infiltration method with pressure decrease to assess hysteresis of hydraulic conductivity curve. Results show the records of cumulative infiltration versus time and the hydraulic conductivities curves of soils. The difference between hydraulic conductivity curve measured by the multiple step infiltration method with pressure decrease and increase is also reported.
