    Basic Water and Water Vapour Transport Parameters of Fine Grained Concrete with Silicate Protecting Layer

    The protecting function of a silicate layer against water penetration is studied for fine-grained concrete substrates with and without superplasticizer addition. The measured data show that the studied silicate layer can protect concrete only moderatelyagainst water penetration, the main reason being the insufficient thickness of the protecting layer.

    V článku je studována ochranná funkce silikátové vrstvy proti pronikání vody do jemnozrnného betonu s přídavkem a bez přídavku superplastifikátoru. Naměřená data ukazují, že studovaná silikátová vrstva chrání beton proti pronikání vody poměrně málo, cožje zřejmě způsobeno nedostatečnou tloušťkou ochranné vrstvy.
