In this paper, measurements of basic thermal, mechanical and hygric parameters of calcined gypsum produced from waste FGD gypsum and modified by the addition of two different aggregate types, namely fly ash and milled gypsum powder are carried out. Bulkdensity, matrix density, open porosity, thermal conductivity, volumetric heat capacity, water absorption coefficient, apparent moisture diffusivity and bending and compressive strength are determined and compared to the properties of hardened gypsum without any admixtures
