Life cycle costing (LCC) is a method for analyzing the total cost of the acquisition, operation, maintenance and support of a product throughout its useful life, and including the cost of disposal. The benefit of using LCC in building practice is the possibility of determining annual costs of a building or engineering work already in the planning phase as well as providing minimal annual costs at the selected quality.
