    Water and Salt Transport and Storage Parameters of Stone Masonry Materials

    In this paper, the parameters of water and salt transport of "Mšené" sandstone, a material frequently used on the Czech territory for many centuries for buildings and sculptures, are studied. Experimentally determined salt and moisture profiles are usedfor determination of water and salt transport parameters, using the simple diffusion and diffusion-advection concepts. The water storage parameters are determined using common techniques, namely the desiccator method in hygroscopic range and pressure plate method in overhygroscopic range. The salt storage parameters are measured using the adsorption method.

    V článku jsou studovány transportní a akumulační parametry vody a solí mšenského pískovce, který se používal v českých zemích po mnoho staletí. Experimentálně určené profily vlhkosti a koncentrace solí jsou použity pro určení transportních parametrů. Akumulační parametry vody jsou měřeny exsikátorovou metodou a metodou s tlakovou deskou, akumulační parametry solí pomocí adsorpční metody.
