Original language description

Efficiency of prestressing to reduce deflections is very significantly affected by the layout arrangement of prestressing tendons. Two examples elucidating significance of the tendon arrangement layout are presented - the bridge over river Labe in Melnikand the highway bridge over river Ohře. The method was programmed and is freely available on web site and proposed as a design aid without recourse to expensive solutions.
