Sustainable Development in Rural Regions by Land Consolidation in the Czech Republic
Original language description
Land consolidation (LC) in the Czech Republic is an effective tool for renewal real estate register and development of the rural regions. LC provides accession of plots and whole landscape, efficient conditions for farming, environment improvement and ecological stability, soil conservation and water preservation. Almost 500 of LC projects have finished in last ten years. One of the basic principles of LC is the full respect to plots ownership. Other principle is the line of action - whole design of LCis repeatedly presented to owners and discussed. LC result is a new digital cadastral map and a plan of common measures. Finished LC cultivates a development of property market, sale of state agricultural land, lease of agricultural plots. LC facilitatesnext development of community, region and proprietors and farmers. Output is exposed to the different parts of state administration.
