    Thermal Properties of Alkali Activated Slag with Electrical Porcelain Aggregates at High Temperatures

    The specific heat capacity and thermal diffusivity of alkali activated slag with electrical porcelain aggregates are studied during the specimens' exposure to high temperatures up to 1200 °C. The thermal diffusivity of the material is found to decrease and the specific heat capacity to increase with increasing temperature for higher temperatures than 400 °C which are positive features for a material potentially applicable as fire protecting layer in building structures.

    Měrná tepelná kapacita a součinitel teplotní vodivosti alkalicky aktivované strusky s elektroporcelánovým kamenivem jsou studovány během ohřevu vzorků na vysoké teploty do 1200 °C. Experimentální výsledky ukazují, že součinitel teplotní vodivosti klesá srostoucí teplotou a měrná tepelná kapacita roste pro teploty vyšší než 400 °C, což je možno považovat za pozitivní jev.
