Multiscale Heat Conduction Model for Hydration Heat of Concrete
Original language description
This paper presents the multiscale model of concrete heat evolution. Cement hydration model CEMHYD3D is used at the micrometer scale, controlled with actual temperature from macroscale concrete level which is computed by means of heat conduction differential equation. An effect of cement chemical composition, fineness and initial temperature is examined in more detail. The validation shows considerable impact of heat of hydration on temperature evolution, especially in massive structures.
