The paper presents information on WIM measuring systems for weighing vehicles in motion. The WIM systems enable a precise determination of axle loads and sort vehicles according to the appropriate classification table. The information derived from WIM measurements allow to determine realistic pattern of stress and deformation cycles induced in pavement by the passage of heavy vehicles

Systémy WIM umožňují přesné stanovení nápravových tlaků vozidel a jejich následné zatřídění podle příslušné klasifikační tabulky. Informace poskytované systémy WIM zpřesňují dále údaje potřebné pro stanovení napěťových a deformačních cyklů vyvolaných ve vozovce přejezdy těžkých nákladních vozidel
