The Josef Underground Educational Facility (Josef UEF) is a new multidisciplinary facility employed primarily for the teaching of university students. Other activities include research and cooperation on projects commissioned by the private business sector. Almost 600 meters of renovated underground areas provide a wide range of educational, training and research opportunities for young scientists involved in underground structures, geotechnics, geochemistry, engineering geology and material engineering.
