Thanks to a close cooperation of several blowerdoor test providers in the Czech Republic, the results of airtightness measurements are collected together with a detailed description of the buildings tested, in order to build up a database. This databaseallows the time progress of the airtightness level commonly achieved in the practice to be monitored. The contribution presents some outcomes of analysis of database records. Firstly, an overview of the airtightness test results is presented together with basic statistical analyses. The most frequently used air barrier systems are presented and compared. Some innovative solutions of air barrier system are presented as examples of effort to improve the airtightness in construction practice.
