This paper presents a fuzzy-logic-based approach to definition of the stress-strain curve of hardening concrete and fiber concrete in compression. The objective in the definition was to obtain a continuous curve over the entire range of the stress-straindiagram. This was achieved by formulating a method based on the classical fuzzy control and optimization of the shapes and numbers of the fuzzy sets. The setting of the fuzzy sets for definition of the stress-strain diagrams was based on real experimental data for concrete of the age ranging from 3 to 8 hours and hardened fiber concrete. The methods are explained in examples. The advantage of this approach in the case of hardening concrete is the flexibility which allows definition of the stress-straindiagram for various ages in a single model. In the case of fiber concrete, this approach allows to describe the peculiarities of the post-peak behavior.
