Utility of Renewable Energy Technologies
Original language description
Presently the accessibility to energy sources and their price are becoming worldwide up-to-date subject. Predictions speak about fast increase of Europe's dependency on fuel imports from politically instable areas. This all happens in the atmosphere of environmental impulses to lower the greenhouse gases. This situation is significant and determining for the arrangement of the thermal comfort of buildings, which is now both cost demanding according to the market prices of the energy and producing emissions into the atmosphere. Thus new technologies operating on the basis of renewable energy become relevant. These technologies unite the independence from the imported fossil energy sources and the lowering of the environmental stress. But they are connected with markedly higher investment cots and rather low efficiency as well. So there remains a question what is the real utility these technologies generate and how high it is.
