Results of investigations focused on long bolted joint made of steel plates (S960) and bolts 10.9 are given. Number of experiments has been carried out. Behaviour of members made of high strength steel can differ compared to common materials. The main reason is that ductility of higher strength materials is significantly lower. This can cause different distribution of loading force on single bolts.
