Sensitivity Range Determination of Surface TDR Probes

  • Original language description

Water causes serious problems in building exploitation. It appears at external barriers from many sources, e.g. ground or rainfalls and even sanitary system fails, causing disintegration of building materials and the worsening of the indoor air parameters. To minimize the water influence on buildings many measuring methods were developed. One of them is the TDR moisture determination based on surface TDR probes. The application of the surface TDR probes is a new approach and requires many investigationsto make it a complete, fully useful method. In this paper, we estimate the range of TDR surface probe sensitivity.
