Original language description
In this paper, experimental methods used originally in building science and research are presented as advanced tools for characterization of thermal and electrical properties of chosen granular agricultural materials. Nominally, the properties of winterwheat BREA, BARDOTKA, CAPO, spring oat EBSON, and corn DKC 4626 are tested. Among thermal properties, effective thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat capacity are measured using transient impulse technique. Within the electrical properties measurement, complex relative permittivity of studied materials is measured in dependence on moisture content using Time Domain Reflectometry method
