High-performance materials containing alternative silicate binders: analysis of properties and recommendations for application in building practice
Original language description
An analysis of properties of high-performance materials containing alternative silicate binders is presented in the paper, and recommendations for their application in building practice are formulated. It is concluded that the utilization of alternativesilicate binders as a partial replacement of Portland cement can be considered a prospective way to the production of high performance materials beneficial to the environment. However, from the point of view of their practical application it is necessaryto comply with certain limitations, in particular concerning the recommended amount of an alternative silicate binder in a concrete mixture
