Mechanical, thermal and hygric properties of cracked self compacting concrete
Original language description
Mechanical, thermal and hygric properties of self compacting concrete with randomly distributed cracks induced by high-temperature exposure are measured and compared with reference self compacting concrete. The most significant differences in the properties of reference and thermally treated specimens are observed for liquid water transport parameters and compressive strength. These parameters are the best indicators of damage induced by thermal decomposition processes in the cement matrix.
