  • Original language description

    Service life of plasters intended for application on historical buildings is investigated in the paper. In the experimental part, the frost resistance of plasters is determined. The computational part consists in the determination of the number of freezing cycles in building envelopes during a Test Reference Year (TRY). Three kinds of plasters in combination with three kinds of load bearing wall materials are analyzed. Based on experimental and computational results, the lifetime of surface layers of historical building envelopes is estimated.
