    A remarkable increase in traffic volume has contributed to the severe rutting on highway and main road in The Middle east. Rutting is defined as the accumulation of small amounts of unrecoverable strain resulting from applied wheel loads to HMA pavement.Therefore, there has become a need to enhance asphalt pavement mixtures that may prone to rutting, to withstand the increase of loading, mitigate adverse affects on pavement performance and reduce occurrence of premature rutting. This study is undertaken to evaluate the properties of HMA mixes at high temperature as related to rutting problem, and to evaluate the use of suitable polymers for hot climate. Mixes ACB25 and ACW12, were designed according to SuperpaveTM mix design and modified respectivelywith Elvaloy , Polybilt and Crumb Rubber and results are being optimalized. Based on this recommendations,all selected materials were later used on highway projects.
