Modification of the method for the assessment of heat exchangers for the recuperation of heat from ventilation air
Original language description
The goal of the method on which our models are based is to describe realistically the efficiency of the heat transmission between streams of cooled and heated air during various operational states, primarily during contamination of heat exchanging surfaces, for example, when implementing exchangers in stables for breeding livestock. Our original method used the so-called "external look at the exchanger", in which the assessment was based on the exergies of heat flows at the exchanger outlets and inlets.Individual exergy efficiencies were then calculated from these values. The present modified approach to the model tries to describe the properties of the exchanger and parameters influencing the heat transmission in more detail. It is based on the assumption that the transmitted heat flow is influenced by a constant parameter, i.e. the geometry and size of the heat exchanging surface of the exchanger and a variable parameter - heat transmission through the heat exchanging surface.
