The paper sums up the results of the experimental and theoretical analysis of the response of a model of a 7-storey prefabricated wall structure of a multi-storey building to the effects of technical seismicity. The research was part of the research planMSM6840770001 "Reliability, optimization and durability of building materials and structures". The results of this experimental research are presently being complemented by a follow-up phase of research into the response of prefabricated planar systemsto the effects of induced seismicity involving selected prefabricated structures situated in areas with heavy traffic (this research phase is supported by the Czech Science Foundation - 103/09/2007 - The effect of technical and natural seismicity on structural reliability of buildings)
