Original language description
Tipping bucket flowmeter is designed to withstand year-round weather conditions in outdoor environment as a close box installed underground. Its compact body prevents from natural debris contamination. Detachable ground base allows for easy installationonto the solid support. Titled base ensures quicker evacuation of the chamber by the liquid after the tip; welcome during the consequent sampling procedure. Trapezoidal cross section of the tipping bucket body prevents from breaking due to frozen water in the bucket. Modular composition allows for easy installation and tune up at the site. Device body is equipped by the hose mouth for the water sampling and can house e.g. temperature sensor for the measurement of flowing water. Volume of the bucket is fixed and is calibrated at the site. Bucket movement with attached actuator magnet produces changes in electrical field sensed by the complementary electrical reed switch and detected in the datalogger.
