Sweeping of Unstructured Meshes over Generalized Extruded Volumes

  • Original language description

The paper deals with the discretization of generalized extrudable volumes into semi-structured meshes. The algorithm is based on least-squares approximation of an appropriate mapping based on Berstein polynomials. While a 2D mapping is used for transferbetween the caps surfaces of the volume, a 3D mapping is used for the the intermediate layers of the resulting semi-structured mesh.
