This paper deals with authors research work, pointed on the design and experimental investigation of the new high transparent structural element - hybrid steel-glass beam. Hybrid beam consists of steel flanges and glass web connected together by adhesivelayer. Long glued joint realized by polymer adhesive is the key element of the system and therefore also a key aspect of the development.
