Original language description
The knowledge of changes in elasticity characteristics of antivibration mats after their exposure to cyclic loading is a significant parameter for a long-term safe functioning of antivibration mats in the track bed construction. In the Czech Republic, antivibration mats from waste rubber recyclate are mainly used. Their long-term behaviour tests were performed on a simplified model of the track bed construction in laboratory conditions. Different types of antivibration mats were exposed to up to 1 million load cycles. Based on the results, the German methodology of the determination of resistance of antivibration mats to cyclic loading was modified for use on Czech railway tracks.
