    Chloride accumulation and transport in renovation plasters

  • Original language description

    The accumulation and transport of chloride ions in the inner structure of renovation plasters is studied. In the experimental work, three different types of commercial renovation plasters originally designed for restoration of salt laden historical buildings are investigated. The obtained results are compared with reference lime plaster that is often applied in building practice for reconstruction and renovation of historical facades. For computational assessment of moisture diffusivities and chloride diffusion coefficients, the experimental measurement of moisture and chloride concentration profiles is performed.
