    Mitigation of moisture-induced damage in a typical structure built in 1970's in Prague

  • Original language description

    A comparison of efficiency of different drying methods aimed at the mitigation of moisture-induced damages in typical structures built in 1970's in Czech Republic is presented in the paper. The investigations are conducted within the frame of reconstruction of a real building performed in Prague in 2008. Effects of realized reconstruction works are compared with the results of computer simulations of other drying methods which are obtained using Transmat computer code. In the calculations Künzel's mathematical model of coupled heat and moisture transport is applied.
