    Time Evolution of "Grey Gypsum" Mechanical Properties

  • Original language description

    The paper presents monitoring of mechanical properties of grey gypsum. The samples of dimensions 40 x 40 x 160 mm were made from this material and put in laboratory conditions (relative humidity 50 % and temperature 20 °C). The material properties, especially Young's Modulus and strength, were measured in different time instants during hardening of gypsum samples. These properties were measured using destructive and non-destructive methods. At the end of the paper, the time evaluation of grey gypsum mechanical properties is presented and discussed.
