EVALUATION OF THE INDOOR ENVIRONMENT IN TERMS OF LIGHT AND DAYLIGHT
Original language description
Artificial lighting is responsible for a large part of an office buildings electricity needs. Reduction of energy consumption could be achieved by better integration of the daylight in the lighting system. To provide quality light conditions with maximized use of daylight, we need to create complex analyze of the room and take many parameters into the consideration. Not only general illuminance of the room and impact of exterior obstruction, but as well the light distribution within the space and duringthe time, uniformity ratio of illuminance and contrasts in the viewing field, risks of glare and other aspects should be inspected. Recent research studies point out the effects of the different parts in spectral distribution of the light flux on the human psychics. All these aspects could significantly affect the indoor environment quality.
