Original language description
Based on experimental results a non-linear 3D numerical FE model is calibrated using ANSYS software package. Plenty of variants of shear connection in composite trusses are studied, having various load-slip relationships. Comparison of the numerical results with proposals given in Eurocode 4 and influence of shear connection densification above truss nodes are discussed in a detail. Finally some comments on Eurocode 4 provisions and recommendations for practical design are presented.
