Topics of the paper are survey of new technologies for welding of small diameter studs, the experimental investigation commented with results of push-out tests having studs with 10 and 13 mm diameter and various quality of concrete part. The results havea form of design characteristics. They may have big impact on availability of shear connection in composite steel and concrete structures, as the headed studs of small diameters require welding devices with low electric input and protection.
