Multi-objective optimization of cement paste properties

  • Original language description

This paper presents multi-objective optimization of cement paste properties. Virtual modeling of cement paste hydration is based on CEMHYD3D model, quantifying the effect of cement fineness, cement chemical composition, gypsum content, water-to-cement ratio, and saturated/sealed conditions. Using sensitivity analysis, the importance of individual parameters is estimated. Multi-objective simulation is used for the minimization of hydration heat while maximizing Young's modulus at 28 days. The results clearly show the importance of w/c parameter.
