After 1990, 15 large tunnels have been completed using NATM - 8 railway tunnels and 7 road tunnels. Owing to the application of NATM, a number of technologies associated mainly with eccavations and overburdeen support has developed. For the excellent tradition of undeground construction in Czech republic is necessary used fill-face tunnel machines for long tunnel in the near future.
