Some Remarks on Averaging in the BDDC Method

Original language description

BDDC (Balanced Domain Decomposition by Constraints) method is used as a primal preconditioner for PCG (Preconditioned Conjugate Gradients) method for solving linear systems obtained from discretization of partial differential equations. One of the features of the BDDC, which influences quality of preconditioning, is an averaging operator. New possibilities of its choice are discussed.
