Nonlocal tangent operator for damage plasticity model

Result description

This paper deals with the computational analysis of the nonlocal damage-plastic model. The return mapping algorithm based on the closest-point projection is developed and the corresponding consistent algorithmic stiffness is derived. The properties of the tangent stiffness matrix are discussed and the quadratic rate of convergence of the Newton-Raphson interation procedure is demonstrated.
