    This work deals with the determination of accuracy of control points position using the laser scanning system Leica HDS 3000. There was set up and conducted an experiment in which it was made the measuring of geodetic network consisting of control pointsof the various types and also produced by various manufacturers. Measurements were performed using total station and laser scanning system. After the processing of data from both methods, the results were transformed into the same coordinate system andthen compared.
