This paper deals with a composite plate used as a bridge deck. The behavior of both (steel and concrete) materials and their advantages and disadvantages is explained in introduction. The wide used and well known are studs welded on the top part of the steel deck. The work will try to find the special way how to ensure suitable connection between steel and concrete and will focus on the design and testing of the connection with the concrete reinforcement welded on the top part of the steel plate.
