Evaluation of Characteristics of Experimental Cold Recycling Mixes with Fluid Ash
Original language description
Cold recycling asphalt mixes are a standardized technique in many countries worldwide. In Czech Republic (CZE) the traditional mix design uses bituminous emulsion and cement as jointly applied binders with sufficient resistance to cracking and improved bearing capacity of the pavement structure. The typical characteristic of these mixes is air voids content of at least 9 %-vol. what can normally increase the water susceptibility and reduce indirect tensile strength as most important characteristics.
