Inverse Analysis of Water Vapour Transport in Building Materials Using Genetic Algorithm
Original language description
A combined computational-experimental approach for the determination of water vapour diffusion permeability of cellular concrete is presented. Within the performed experiment, the rod shaped sample of cellular concrete is exposed to the difference climate conditions concerning relative humidity and the distribution of relative humidity fields along the longitudinal axis of the sample is measured. In the computational part, the genetic algorithms are employed for the determination of water vapour permeability of studied material in dependence on relative humidity. At the solution of the problem numerical computer code HEMOT based on finite element method that already has proved its applicability for simulation of coupled heat, water and water vapour transport is used.
