Požární odolnost vícepodlažních budov na bázi dřeva
Original language description
The behaviour of timber during the fire is coming more and more to the focus of attention of engineering public. Popularity of family and residential houses made of timber has grown recently. This project should analyze fire resistance of multi-storey buildings made from light timber frames. Calculation methods given by Eurocodes are applicable simplistically and only for limited number of building components. Fire experiments and their consequential evaluation by numeric and analytical models are for scientific activity in this field indispensable. In addition to solving of fire resistance of single parts of light frames (floors, walls) and their relation to particular type of materials will this project solve the impact of the contribution of the fire resistance of the board materials on the construction components. The new test method will be evaluated consequently.
