Models to thermal and mechanical response of structures exposed to fire
Original language description
The publication introduces the reader to the basic principles and models available for structural fire design. The lessons are focused to specific questions, which are crucial for prediciton of structural behaviour of building exposed to fire: heat development in fire compartment, structural elements behaviour, integrated structural behaviour and integrity of structure mostly depends to connections robustness. The design procedures are demonstrated on worked examples prepared according to structural fire Eurocodes EN 199x-1-2.
