Original language description
A new method for automatic generation of reinforcement layout of structural concrete is proposed in the paper. The presented method combines the principles of strut-and-tie analogy and structural optimization. The emphasis is placed on applicability of the method in engineering practice. The potency of the method is demonstrated on a few examples.
