The Precision of Determination of Mechanical Properties Using Impulse Excitation Method
Original language description
The precision of determination of dynamic Young´s modulus, dynamic shear modulus and Poisson´s ratio using nondestructive impulse excitation method is presented in this paper. The precision of determination of these mechanical properties is dependent notonly on the accuracy of measurement dimensions, weight, distance of supports, natural frequencies but also on the accuracy of cutting or making the testing specimens. The main aim of this paper is to make an analysis of these influences to the precisionof resulting mechanical properties.
