Influence of Increasing Temperature on the Mechanical Properties of Cement Paste made of CEM I and CEM II
Original language description
The experimental investigation addressing the influence of temperature on the mechanical properties of cement paste is presented. In particular, the mixtures of Portland cement CEM I and CEM II are examined. The manufactured test samples are gradually heated to the required temperature and then sujected to the destructive uniaxial compression and three point bending tets to determine the compressive strength, the static modulus of elasticity and the tensile strength in bending.
