SHAPE OPTIMIZATION OF FIBERS IN FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE

Result description

In this study the shape optimization of fibers in a periodic composite fiber reinforced structure is presented. The optimization is focused on the shape of cross-section of fibers in periodic structure. Two basic problems are solved: first minimization of differences between material properties of phases in the composite and the overall (effective) properties, which are a priori given. Given are also the material properties of phases. The second is the lowest stress.
