Cement Paste with varying Amounts of added Fly ash as a Binder in Concrete: Mechanical Properties after 90 Days
Original language description
Contrarily to the rest of the world, fly ash produced by thermal power plants is mainly considered as a waste material in the Czech Republic. Properties of fly ash are appropriately used in the construction industry, especially in the production of concrete. This article is focused on the experiment concerning the possibility of greater use fly ash as an important part of the binder in concrete. There are shown the mechanical properties (compressive strength, the tensile strength in bending) of cement pastes with varying amounts of added fly ash after 90 days.
