Analýza snímků půdních vzorků pořízených neutronovou a rentgenovou tomografií
Original language description
Water flow in a soils is accompanied by an unexplained phenomens such as hydraulic conductivity instability. This paper focuses on analysis of image data obtained during the imaging of soil sample by non-invasive imaging metods. Ponding infiltration experiment and a breakthrough test was performed on an undisturbed soil sample. Soil sample was imaged by a neutron an X-ray imaging during the infiltration experiments. Two X-ray and 25 neutron tomographs were obtained and reconstructed. The important taskof image data analysis is segmentation of images. In current study the focus was on segmentation of bubbles of entrapped air, which are suspected to cause the quasi-saturated hydraulic conductivity instability. The goal of this study was the assessment of four image filters, used as a first step of image segmentation. Four smoothing and edge detection image filters were compared, while meanshift filter showed the best performance.
