    Tensile behavior of fiber reinforced strain hardening cementitious composites (SHCC) is usually characterized by means of direct tensile or bending tests. However, characteristics obtained from these tests are largely influenced by the particular setup of the experiments, such as size of specimen, boundary conditions, method of specimen preparation (casting, sawing), etc. In our previous work [1], we demonstrated that these phenomena can be qualitatively reproduced by the finite element method (FEM) with stochastic fields representing the composite's inhomogeneous mesostructure. In the present work we perform a parametric study to investigate the effects of selected parameters of the numerical model on the SHCC characteristics obtained in virtual tensile tests.
